The HH Food Distribution Center is an elevated, modern community building located in Dallas, Georgia, USA. Designed to accommodate diverse businesses, the building is thoughtfully divided into areas that serve both the public and private tenants. It includes a warehouse area that stores food for distribution to those in need, a clothing boutique for the community, and tenant spaces for private use. A special design feature is an arch that covers the training and conference room, complemented by a glass storefront that allows natural light to flood the interior. The building also features steel columns and beams supporting the metal roof, giving it a distinctive modern look. Overall, this design not only revitalizes the developing area but also leaves a lasting impression on the community and passersby.

ARCHITECTURAL RESPONSE
The Helping Hands Community Building is an elevated, modern community building located in Dallas, Georgia, USA. This project involves the modern adaptive reuse and renovation of an existing warehouse, featuring a new front facade. Designed to accommodate diverse businesses, the building is thoughtfully divided into areas that serve both public and private tenants. It includes a warehouse area for storing and distributing food to those facing hunger, a clothing boutique for the community, and tenant spaces for private use. A special design feature is the canopy system that covers the front of the building, with sun breakers in between. This canopy design provides coverage for guests and tenants from bad weather. Additionally, the glass storefront and windows allow natural light to flood the interior. Overall, this design not only revitalizes the developing area but also leaves a lasting impression on the community and passersby.

Off the Ground memorial site
ARCHITECTURAL RESPONSE
The K Memorial is a modern memorial site located in Yaoundé, Cameroon. This elevated design is centered around a concrete tomb with a partially circular high marble front wall. The tomb features concrete seating for guests, concrete stairs leading to the tomb platform for placing decorations, and tall windows in the partial high front wall, allowing natural light to fill the tomb during the day. The interior design is enhanced by wood beams accenting the ceiling and wood decorations on the back wall, highlighted by LED backlights. A special design feature is the front marble high wall, which is illuminated by ground lights that shine along the wall. Combined with interior lighting, this feature allows guests to visit the memorial site at night.

The Hammonds House Museum, a significant institution for African American fine art, holds a prominent location at 503 Peeples Street SW in the West End neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. With its rich history, the Victorian house is believed to have been constructed in 1857, making it one of the three oldest houses in the West End area. The Hammonds House Museum's remodeling design primarily focuses on restoring and renovating the existing exterior. The exterior will be revitalized through these upgrades, ensuring its structural integrity and safeguarding it from further deterioration. By thoughtfully balancing restoration efforts with preserving its historical essence, the Hammonds House Museum continues to symbolize cultural pride and appreciation for African American fine art. The remodeling project ensures that this cherished institution remains a testament to the rich history and artistic contributions of the community it serves.
