Architectural Project Designer I

As the project designer of TCHOUAFFÉ ARCHITECTS INC., Mr. Melvin E Carter Jr. creates the plans and specifications of the project and ensures that it meets all applicable codes and regulations.

Mr. Melvin E. Carter Jr., a native of Atlanta, Georgia, graduated from the ITT Technical Institute of Atlanta, GA, in April 2011, earning an associate degree in computer drafting and design. Currently holding the position of Project Designer, he joined our team in 2013, making a significant impact with his capstone project "Backspin Studio," showcasing his proficiency in Revit operations and modeling.

His journey commenced with the Thumbs Up Diner project in Douglasville, Georgia, and spanning the last ten years, Mr. Carter has actively contributed to numerous projects across diverse sectors, including Commercial, Residential, Governmental, Institutional, Hospitality, and Transportation. His versatile skill set encompasses the development of hand drawings, construction documents, 3D renderings, and model building.

As the go-to person for Revit function and operation, along with meeting Lumion rendering needs for presentation drawings and working drawings, Mr. Carter continues to play a crucial role in our projects. In addition to his current responsibilities, he is dedicated to furthering his education, working towards completing his Architectural Degree, and harbors aspirations of becoming a Registered Architect in the future.
