In this edition of Design Dialogues, we are proud to showcase three transformative projects—the Cameroon Office Renovation, Wreckon Skate + Vinyl, and Chastain Creamery—that demonstrate how vision becomes form through collaboration, creativity, and technical precision.
At our Cameroon Office, the focus was on creating a workspace that reflects the values and identity of Tchouaffé Architects while enhancing productivity and collaboration. Through a thoughtful renovation that optimized spatial organization, improved lighting, and introduced modern furnishings and technology, the office was transformed into a functional and inspiring environment that supports both daily operations and client engagement.
At Wreckon Skate + Vinyl in Kennesaw, Georgia, the challenge was to transform an existing retail space into a destination that embodies the culture and energy of the skateboarding and music communities. Through strategic spatial planning, custom merchandising solutions, enhanced lighting, and a refined material palette, we created an immersive retail experience that seamlessly blends vinyl records, apparel, and skate culture into a cohesive and engaging environment.
For Chastain Creamery in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia, the objective was to reimagine an outdated interior into a vibrant and memorable customer destination. By opening the space, introducing a bold new visual identity, and creating a more intuitive layout for both guests and staff, the renovation transformed the creamery into a welcoming environment that strengthens brand recognition while enhancing the overall customer experience.

Cameroon Office – Tchouaffé Architects – Cameroon Office Identity
Yaoundé, Cameroon
The renovation of our Cameroon office reflects our commitment to creating modern, efficient workspaces that support both productivity and brand identity. The design introduces a streamlined workstation layout that maximizes efficiency while maintaining clarity and organization. The original office lacked cohesion and did not fully support collaborative workflows.

Through reconfiguration, the space now supports better flow, accessibility, and team interaction. A dedicated presentation zone enhances communication, collaboration, and client engagement. Lighting and material updates create a brighter and more comfortable working environment. The final result is a cohesive office environment that balances functionality with a strong visual identity.

Wreckon Skate + Vinyl – Reimagined retail space blending skate culture, music, and design
Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
Wreckon Skate + Vinyl has been transformed into a dynamic retail and cultural destination—where music, fashion, and skateboarding intersect. The design creates an immersive environment that enhances both product display and customer experience. The project began with a structure that lacked a strong identity aligned with the brand. The objective was to redefine both the visual presence and functionality of the space. The original layout presented an open but underutilized space, offering an opportunity to rethink circulation and spatial organization.

Initial phases introduced defined zones and architectural elements, establishing the foundation for a cohesive retail experience. The final design balances raw, industrial character with refined detailing. Strategic lighting and display systems create a cohesive and elevated environment. The space encourages exploration, with distinct zones for vinyl, apparel, and accessories—creating a layered and engaging customer journey. A dedicated seating area adds a social dimension, reinforcing Wreckon’s identity as more than a store—it’s a community hub.

Chastain Creamery – A vibrant interior designed for customer experience and brand identity
Atlanta, Georgia, USA
Located in the heart of Buckhead, Atlanta, Chastain Creamery was reimagined as a vibrant and welcoming destination where thoughtful design enhances both the customer experience and the brand's identity. By opening the space, introducing a bold new visual language, and creating a more intuitive layout for guests and staff, the renovation transformed an outdated interior into a modern hospitality environment that is both functional and memorable.

The design process focused on opening the space and introducing a fresh visual identity. A clearly defined service area enhances both staff workflow and customer engagement while anchoring the space. The new layout creates a welcoming atmosphere that supports both individual visits and group experiences. A dedicated branding element creates a memorable focal point and reinforces the identity of Chastain Creamery.
