PROJECT SNAPSHOT

A fire-damaged library restored as a safe, welcoming community resource.

TCHOUAFFÉ ARCHITECTS served as Architect of Record for the fire restoration and renovation of the approximately 8,596-square-foot Cleveland Avenue Library in Atlanta, Georgia. The design preserved the existing structure and serviceable building systems while strategically restoring fire-damaged areas through roof and masonry repairs, new finishes and ceilings, LED lighting, HVAC upgrades, and coordinated fire-protection improvements. Existing solar panels were integrated into the roof restoration and reinstallation sequence. Through careful multidisciplinary coordination and selective intervention, the project restored a safe, welcoming, and adaptable community resource while protecting Fulton County’s investment.
