Melvin E. Carter Jr., Assoc. AIA, serves as Architectural Associate and Project Designer at TCHOUAFFÉ ARCHITECTS INC. Since joining the firm in 2013, he has contributed to a diverse portfolio of commercial, healthcare, educational, governmental, institutional, hospitality, adaptive reuse, transportation, and residential projects in the United States and internationally.
His experience spans the full architectural design process, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction documentation, building code and life safety analysis, accessibility compliance, permitting, consultant coordination, quality assurance, and construction administration support. Melvin works closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to develop thoughtful, practical, and code-compliant design solutions.
